		The BDPA starts in the Campobasso provincial library "P. Albino" as the first tool for the digital information preservation and its own evaluation. As the traditional library was born to the aim of preserving, evaluating and providing access to the tangible information objects, as the digital library is proposed to have the same aims relating to the digital information objects. >>>read next
		Digital collections (demo version)
		The Molisani periodicals It represents a documentary source of primary importance for the study of the recent past and it is a real and tangible expression of the social, political, economical and cultural tissue of this italian region (Molise). The provincial library collection, even though does not identify all the periodicals, produced in the Molise, however it is representative for the local production. The whole Molisani periodicals section contains 404 headings.		The Pepe manuscripts Pepe collection, was acquired by the provincial library in the 1976, it comprehends bibliographic and archivistic material owned by the Cuoco and Pepe families from Civitacamporano. It contains an interesting musical part and consists of 177 editions and 476 manuscripts. The more ancient nucleus of the musical collection contains manuscripts produced in the second half of the XVII century and in the first decade of the XIX century.		The Eliseo drawings and prints The Eliseo collection contains 75 drawings of an artist from Molise and 35 german prints of the second half of the XVIII century
		The S.I.M.B.A.D. project
		The project for a Bibliographic Metadata Information System on Digital Architecture (S.I.M.B.A.D.) was aimed at creating a system for lying the foundation for the digital information infrastructure construction, that supports the human conceptual work and points to the information preservation, in the long term, which is connoted by the maximum technological independence and supports the data interoperability for the exchange and the circulation of the digital information objects. >>>read next
